First Days in Essex County Fire Brigade January 27th 1967.
Created by Ray one year ago
Will never forget: Keith and I first met at the Witham Fire Service Training College on Friday 27th January 1967. Had some great times through a tough 12 weeks. We passed our course and Keith was sent to 69 stn Harlow and I to 29 stn Tilbury. Because I transferred to the NSW Fire Brigade in Australia in 1970 we lost touch until we contacted each other on Facebook and communicated regularly. In the summer of 2017 I caught up with Keith in the UK and we had a few beers and chatted about our experiences during our careers. I will cherish those memories of Witham and our chats online and the last time we met in Smateouthend, Rest in Peace mate and thankyou for your friendship.
